Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree Love

One of the first purchases I plan on making when we arrive in California is a Fiddle Leaf Fig tree!
I have been smitten with them for what seems like forever, and I am positive it is time to make it happen.
I am 50% excited about the getting a new tree and 50% excited about what I am going to put it in.
A pot, a basket, DIY a planter? Oh the possibilites.

I am torn between a geometric pot and a chunky woven basket.
Have you purchased yourself one yet?

  5. I love fiddle leaf figs! Do you know where you're going to buy one from? I've been looking around but I've had a hard time finding anywhere that actually sells them.

  6. The mix of green with the white background and all the important accents really makes the home look comfortable.

I wonder if this stuff can be learned from a design school. I wonder if I can ask you which design school in this list would you consider the tops? Thanks.

  7. I have two! The second was given to me by a friend and she was sure she killed it. I repotted her, cut off the bad leaves and let it be--and it's now spouting new leaves. They are the best plants, says this girl who kills almost everything ;-)

  8. I love the way they look in baskets! I've had mine for about a year. Can't wait until it gets bigger, if I don't kill it first :)

  11. I love them too and have sooo wanted to jump on the trend as well. I really want one of the tall ones and can only find the shorter ones, so I am holding out. I love them in a chunky basket.
