DIY Black & White Stripes

i painted the stripes and absolutely love them.
they are just what the room needed.

i went with 10 1/2" black and white stripes.
yep, it is chalkboard paint!
i might not tell emory about the chalkboard paint, still debating that one...

i did leave her a little message in the corner.

it is right behind the wicker chair.

isn't it amazing what a little paint can do.
it changes the whole room!

i am not the only one jumping for joy about the stripes.
someone else was a little excited...

ok, maybe a lot.

although i love the results the stripes weren't a complete success.
my walls have a little texture and the paint bled through the tape.
so it looks like i have some touching up to do.
regardless, i still think it was worth it!

what do you think?
