i painted the stripes and absolutely love them.
they are just what the room needed.
i went with 10 1/2" black and white stripes.
yep, it is chalkboard paint!
i might not tell emory about the chalkboard paint, still debating that one...
i did leave her a little message in the corner.
it is right behind the wicker chair.
isn't it amazing what a little paint can do.
it changes the whole room!
i am not the only one jumping for joy about the stripes.
someone else was a little excited...
although i love the results the stripes weren't a complete success.
my walls have a little texture and the paint bled through the tape.
so it looks like i have some touching up to do.
regardless, i still think it was worth it!

I love it! We ( my husband) have striped 2 rooms in our house. I am so pleased with the results. My very patient husband says '"no more stripes ,please" I will reveal one striped room next week on my new public blog. PS your daughter couldn't be any sweeter!!!

ReplyDeleteI did stripes and chalkboard paint in my house also and love it!!! I have a suggestion for the bleeding paint even though your finished. " Frog Tape" It works wonders! Unless that is what you used. . . then touch up it is.
